Services - Expert Advice Insurance and Loss Adjusting

Julia knows how insurance companies and loss adjusters operate. She has worked with them for decades. She knows what they should do to benefit their clients and works of art that have suffered as a consequence of fire, damp, water, bomb damage, or any other causes of accidental harm. Julia’s long-standing expertise, as both a valuer and conservator, is unique. She has worked with insurance companies and loss adjusters for decades.

In 1993 Julia worked on many of the paintings damaged or destroyed by the IRA bomb, planted in the Baltic Exchange in the City of London. Some had been damaged beyond redemption, but others could be saved and it was most rewarding to see what could be rescued from the rubble.
