(44.5 x 30.5 cm.)<br> <br> Born in Norwich 13 September, this admirable artist of Norwich School was also a keen yachtsman and a pupil of Robert Ladbrook, the landscape painter. He was a member of the Norwich Society of Artists, exhibiting there and at the British Institution between 1819 and 1828; he also exhibited at the Society of British Artists. He would probably have become better known, but he died young in Norwich 7 December.<br>
